As digital threats grow, physical backups are regaining relevance, but most solutions don't verify integrity over decades.
Individuals and businesses need archives that survive decades without bit rot or format obsolescence. Build a service that accepts mailed Blu-ray M-Disks, verifies their contents, stores them in secure vaults, and provides periodic integrity checks.
Charge annual fees for storage and verification. Start by offering simple mail-in verification with basic storage, then expand to enterprise-grade solutions.
Risk: Physical media handling is operationally complex versus pure cloud solutions.
