MacBook Pro users have a permanently visible notch that currently serves no purpose. This is prime real estate for glanceable information.
Build a system of small, minimalist widgets that show calendar events, weather, system stats, or custom data in the notch area.

Launch with basic clock and calendar widgets. Add API for custom data later.
The risk is Apple changing the notch design in future models or restricting access.
