Modern file manager plugins

Develop productivity plugins for contemporary file managers. Target power users nostalgic for Norton Commander.

Why now

File management remains core to workflows but modern UIs lack efficiency.

Who for
Power users, IT pros
Business model
Paid plugins
Effort
A few weeks

Power users miss keyboard-driven efficiency of classic file managers in modern systems.

Create plugins that add dual-pane views, batch operations, and keyboard shortcuts to Finder/Explorer.

IT professionals and data workers would pay for time-saving features in their daily workflows.

Launch with basic dual-pane functionality for one OS.

Risk is OS updates breaking compatibility.
