Ideas draws one simple line: reading ideas is free, AI output costs credits. This page covers what that means in practice.

What is always free

• Browsing the daily feed and the public idea library, on the web and in the apps
• Liking, saving and rating ideas — with or without an account
• Your saved library and your founder profile
• Exporting any report you own as Markdown

There is no daily limit on the web.

What costs credits

Credits are only spent when you ask for one of these. If a generation fails, the credits are refunded automatically.

If you already have a report or landing page for the same idea in the same language, Ideas opens the existing one instead of charging again. Asking for the same idea in another language creates a new one.

Free credits and Pro

Every new account starts with 50 credits — enough for two deep-dive reports.

Pro adds a monthly allowance of 1,000 credits (or 12,000 a year on the yearly plan) and unlocks PDF and DOCX export for reports. See pricing for current prices.

Prefer not to subscribe? One-time credit packs of 300 and 1,000 credits are available too. A credit pack doesn't change your plan.

Buying on the web vs. in the Mac app

Both routes add credits to the same account.

• On the web, checkout is handled by our reseller Paddle. You manage or cancel the subscription from the billing page in your account.
• In the Mac app, purchases go through the App Store. Manage or cancel them in App Store → your account → Subscriptions.

In-app prices are set per country by the App Store and can differ slightly from the web price.

Cancelling

Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, and credits already added to your account stay there. For refunds, see the refund policy.
